Transformers Animated Optimus Prime TA-01 (TakaraTomy)

The long awaited TakaraTomy Transformers Animated Optimus Prime TA-01 single pack has arrived.
I bought this fella online from a reputable seller in eBay for RM90 with free shipping somemore. He posted on Thursday, April 22nd with Sky Net and arrived on Friday, April 23rd. I received the package on monday and opened it as soon as i reached home.

What more i can say about this awesome fella? Well, from the look of him overall; i like the box very much, good for those who like to keep their collections MISB (i knew few guys from LYN Forum) and for those who like to display together with the box. I like the color the most, lots of shining parts. The color is vibrant and alive.

This mold originally produced by Hasbro for their Transformers Animated TV Series in 2007. The original Voyager Class OP from Hasbro came with larger box and in vehicle mode different from TakaraTomy Voyager OP, in robot mode or robovision.

1 thing i noticed about this TA-01 is, lots of English word on the box, totally different from previous TakaraTomy's Transformers box. For example, Henkei Classics, do you notice any English word on the box?

Well, it's not the matter anyway. As long as you enjoy yourself in this one, go ahead, molest it, transform it many times you like. I believe some of us will buy another set of OP, especially on the Voyager twinpack OP & Megatron. Want to see how's Megatron new look and how much shinning treatment he gets.

Let's go back to Prime for the mean time. Let me show you how interesting is TA-01 than his previous mold, Hasbro Transformers Animated OP..

Out of 10, how much would you give TakaraTomy Transformers Animated Voyager Class Optimus Prime? For me, i give him 9 out of 10 anytime. Why? You have to buy 1st and see what i meant by 9 out of 10. The color, the bling-bling and the quality proved it all. For me, you have to buy 1st regret later on because when it comes to Optimus Prime, you will surely regret it if you didn't buy it earlier.

Transformers Universe Overload

Originally i was targeting Transformers Universe Dropshot for my latest haul but when i saw this guy in eBay few days ago, i fell in love at the first sight. I checked seibertron gallery and realised Universe Overload is better than Universe Dropshot eventhough they are from the same mold and repaint from Galaxy Force Scattorshot Defense. Why? Simple answer, Overload resemble more on Army vehicle, green color for camourflaging in the forest. With the number on his right shoulder, Overload did bring the feel of combat and army.

I would like to give this guy 8 out of 10 score because of his color and articulation. Since i dont have Galaxy Force Scattorshot Defense, Universe Overload is a good alternative with different kind of look. Yeah guys, Buy 1st Regret Later.
