As far as i'm concern, Transformers Prime 1st Edition first wave released in the market last year, 2011 if i'm not mistaken. Somewhere in May or June last year. In the first wave, we got deluxe class Arcee, Cliffjumper, Bumblebee & Starscream plus voyager class Optimus Prime & Bulkhead.
During that time, Cliffjumper is the most sought after item for deluxe class & Bulkhead is the most sought after item for Voyager Class. The add salt to the pain, this 1st Edition was ONLY released in Asia not in the entire world mass market. Meaning, fans in US, UK & Europe didn't have their Trasnformers Prime 1st Edition version in their local toy stores. Weird isn't it? What is the purpose Hasbro doing that is still mystery to me & thousands of fan in Malaysia.
Come 2012, and now in June, i was SMS by 1 of my friend, a die hard fan of Transformers, especially the third party product, asked me whether i want 1st Edition Vehicon? Straight away i answered, of course i want and few days later we met for collection.
From what he told me, the second wave of 1st Edition just released and so far it came with deluxe class only, Arcee, Cliffjumper & Vehicon. No voyager class i guess and after almost 1 year in disguised!! What a way to treat your Transformers fans Hasbro. Congratulations!
A day after that, i visited Toy R Us in MidValley and found lots of Cliffjumper & Arcee but NO Vehicon to be seen. I was told by my friend that a guy from Penang bought all 6 vehicon that just came out in Toy R Us MidValley. Wow!! Just like that!! Thank you Toy R Us. Where are your 1 customer limit to 2 same item policy? No more already? Clap! Clap! Clap!
Meanwhile for the other Transformer Prime Robot in Disguised, deluxe class Dead End just came out with another repaint of Bumblebee as usual like what Hasbro did in the movie toylines. Lots of Soundwave, Ratchet, Knock Out and Cliffjumper.
