Transformers 2010 Creator Primus

Reissuing Primus and Unicron are good decision made by TakaraTomy in the fast few month. Not to mention, there's a lot of good news from TakaraTomy we heard. The latest, reissuing of MP01 Transformers Masterpiece Convoy (Optimus Prime) & MP05 Masterpiece Megatron. For me, it's the best strategy because, for a new collectors, who want to start their collections, can begin with Unicron & Primus plus MP01 and MP05. This can raise their profit and revenue from the company side AND the important thing is, any collectors who still didn't have those i mentioned earlier can haul them right away.

TakaraTomy did produced their version of Primus earlier which came in black box from the Transformers Galaxy Force line. Same like the one produced by Hasbro in Transformers Cybertron line. The different is, Primus version of Transformers Cybertron came with Unicron's Battle Damage head.

The different between those two is, the price. Galaxy Force Primus price is too expensive for a beginner like me to collect but for Transformers Cybertron Primus is lot more cheaper than C-00.

The decision to reissuing Primus is trully made the collectors dream came true. The new box's design is awesome because it's connected to Unicron's box.Too bad, i didn't buy Unicron or else we can see the connection between those two big bots.

Let's go for more details on Primus, let's check it out!

Front view. At the bottom right, we can see part of Unicron's horn.
Back view of the big bot's box. Looks shinning from the pictures showed.

Both side views got the same image.

Another gap.

More close ups.

Look damn nice isn't it?

Conclusion?
I prefer Primus Cybertron with Unicron's battle damage head than this 1 BUT this reissue Primus did came with special color and QC. I didn't see any flaws here as if you pay RM300 for this awesome 'creature'. The colors are so vibrant and beautiful. Like the combinations between grey and blue color. Did showed Primus awesomeness and supremecy.

Didn't regret at all buying this big fella. Would give him 10 out 10, perfect 10 for everything, including the key & the manual. Lol. Grab it fast before it's hike again to the limit. To whoever bought the RM800 Primus, i think they will regret it forever because this 1 also a TakaraTomy version, per say.

Transformers Generations Megatron

Based on the new game 'War For Cybertron', Hasbro introduced a new toyline called Transformers Generations, where most of the figures presented in Cybertron mode basically. But it's weird when in the same toyline, certain figures came in earth mode like Autobot Drift, Thrust, Dirge, Blurr etc etc. May be Hasbro is planning a new game War For Cybertron part 2: Earth Mode?

Well, Hasbro always come up with something weird and with lazy attitude, they will keep introducing the old same mold over and over again. Just to suck all your money with the same toy.

Here we can see another review of Transformers Generations Megatron, Cybertron mode. Why making a review for another Transformers Generations line? Why not try old line like Galaxy Force or other lines? For me, the new line is the best eventhough they in deluxe size because the articulation are better than Supreme Class of Transformers Galaxy Force or Transformers Cybertron.

For example, this one, Transformers Generations Megatron. So small yet so awesome with the articulation and transformation. I like Megatron new mould especially the Revenge of The Fallen (Leader Class) and Alternity mould. We can see lot of improvement here and there eventhough it's kinda small.

Let's get back to our review shall we?

This is the Cybertron mode of Transformers Generations Megatron from the game War For Cybertron. As we can see here, it came with a big cannon and two pair of big legs. The vehicle mode looks so awesome with the big cannon. If you take out the cannon, the vehicle looks dull, nothing but a weird looking spaceship.

Meg in box!

Back of the box.

First look of Megatron, Cybertron mode.

Side view.

Front view.

Rear view.

What's lies beneath.

Rear view from the top.

Another different view from the side.

Big cannon show off.

The Cybertronian mode is really amazing. It's kinda futuristic vehicle and yet showed the seniority of Megatron.

Robot Mode:

This is the first look of Megatron in bot mode. It's kinda hard to transform this fella because the shoulder parts is kinda hard. You have to use accessive power to slot them in.

Once transformed, the cannon looks awesome on his hand.

Closer look on the upper body.

Close up on the chest.

Awesome cannon!

Rear view in bot mode.

Few action with the cannon on hand.

Alternative slot for the cannon. Warrior mode.

Side view with the cannon at the back.

Rear view with the cannon.

Overall, i like this Generations mould of Megatron. Megatron looks so strong with the big cannon. The feet also big and bulky, to match the big cannon i guess. Color wise, almost still the same color of Megatron. Black and white with red color to show more of the big cannon. Rear view also looks nice with the image behind his back. If look closely, you will see the hidden image in it.

I give this fella, 9.5 out of 10. Why? Because there's a lot of thing i like about this Generations Megatron, his big cannon, color, big feet and futuristic Cybertronian mode.

Go grab him now guys! 2 if you can still find it!
